It is as one bypasses the upper shore of the small Sevan and advances along the northeast shore that the Blue Sevan resort center comes into view from behind the trees by the road. Being shielded from the north winds by the mountains and having a magnificent view of the lake, the resort has a fantastic location and scenery. The main hotel building of the resort as well as the two-floor cottages and the wooden houses are surrounded by a pine-tree park, a source of particularly healing air. The main hotel building – the hub of the resort complex – is in a couple of minutes walk from the beach and the pier, from which a dazzling view of the azure lake opens. The Sevan basin has a unique combination of mountainous air, the big fresh water lake and woods. The moderate alpine climate provides mild and sunny weather throughout the year.
